About Prause – live TV production in Poland since 2007
Prause is the brand of MPP Marcin Prause, a live production company based in Katowice, Poland. Since 2007 we have produced live television – mostly sport, but also galas, concerts and live shots for Polish and international broadcasters. That adds up to around 3,000 sports broadcasts. Among others, we produce every All Stars League event and the MOVE Federation galas.
Who we are
The company is run by Marcin Prause, who has worked on live TV broadcasts since 2007. On every production he looks after the technical side: the OB van and equipment, the crew, signal and contribution links, and liaison with the broadcaster’s master control room. We work in English and Polish.
What we do
- OB van hire in Poland – HD and 4K UHD outside broadcast trucks from TVN S.A. (OB VAN 1 UHD and OB VAN 3 HD) with crew.
- LiveU and Aviwest with a technician – live shots, news reports and backup links over bonded cellular.
- Support for international broadcasters and news crews in Poland – equipment, links and technical staff on site, in English.
- Event live streaming and equipment rental on our sister site MPTV: event live streaming and LiveU rental in Poland with Polish SIM cards.
Clients
Canal+, ARTE, BBC, RAI, TBN, the European Parliament, All Stars League, MOVE Federation, KSW, the MMA Polska Association (finals for Canal+), High League, the Regional Labour Office in Katowice (WUP) and BohaterON.
Selected work
- SHAQ Presents All Stars League III at Atlas Arena – basketball show headlined by Shaquille O’Neal: TVN S.A. OB VAN 3 HD, two-language PPV feed, rigged in one day.
- Audio for the SHAQ ASL broadcast – three masters: Polish, English and international.
- BBC HARDtalk live interview with Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski – LiveU LU800 in Warsaw.
- High League 6 gala at Spodek, Katowice – technical side of the broadcast with TVN S.A. OB VAN 3 HD.
How we work
For each production we put together a crew of trusted freelancers: directors, sound supervisors, camera operators, EVS operators, engineers and LiveU technicians. We are based in Katowice and work all over Poland. Quotes and OB van availability are given for your date.
