This page explains what data we collect when you use prause.pl, why we collect it and what rights you have.
Data controller
The data controller is Marcin Prause, running a sole proprietorship under the name MPP Marcin Prause, ul. Koszykowa 15/8, 40-781 Katowice, Poland, VAT ID PL6342570330. Contact on data protection matters: marcin@prause.pl, phone +48 792 772 873.
Phone and email enquiries
When you call or write to us, we process the data you give us (e.g. your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry) to reply, prepare a quote and carry out the job. The legal basis is taking steps before entering into a contract and performing it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the data as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if we work together, for the period required by tax law and until any claims become time-barred.
Cookies and Google Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited) to count visits, see which pages are useful and how many people click our phone number or email address. Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser (_ga, _ga_*) and processes information such as your device, approximate location and the pages you visit. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google may also process data in the USA under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Without your consent Google Analytics does not run at all. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer – when you withdraw it, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Regardless of consent, we store one necessary cookie, zgoda_ga, which remembers your choice for 6 months. People who log in to the website’s admin panel also receive technical WordPress cookies.
Hosting and fonts
The website runs on LH.pl servers, which as a processor store technical data such as server logs with IP addresses. Fonts on the website are loaded from Google Fonts servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw), or with the authority in your country. Providing data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply to your enquiry.
